Cole Bleu returns with 90s flavoured new single ‘HOMEWRECKER’.

The 21 year old grew up in Washington DC, before touching down in the UK in pursuit of her dreams. She’s been through a few different projects, but this solo guise could be her most creative and dynamic to date.

‘HOMEWRECKER’ continues a neat run of singles, and it blends DIY pop aspects with some production aspects borrowed from 90s chart hits. Out now, the song deals with trust and self-confidence, and the sweet innocence points to the still-raw sense of betrayal.

She comments…

“‘Homewrecker’ is super personal to me, as it’s about being cheated on as a young teen. When you’re so young you don’t realize  how much you get walked over again and again by the same person, because YOU always think YOU’RE the problem at that age. Writing this song was hard as I wanted to go back to that moment where I felt like I was 15 again. The song wrote itself when I was in that space.”

A heart-wrenching return, Cole Bleu uses ‘HEARTBREAKER’ to achieve catharsis. Junkmail Worldwide shot the full video, which took Cole back her hometown in Virginia – an “emotional” homecoming, in more than one sense.

She comments: “As the song is about a relationship I had in high school, it felt really vulnerable to film the video for it right where it happened. It was really emotional for me, but came very full circle.”

Tune in now.
