15 · 06 · 2024

Chimer are a band intent on carving their own lane. Harnessing a quiet power like the eye of a storm, the have controlled aggression and effeminate energy brimming from their music in abundance.

They have been cultivating their own sound and gathering quite a core following in the process. Visceral at live shows, the three-piece are now quite the force to be reckoned with and their latest track lands neatly timed as festival season starts to peak.

Their new single ‘Wallshake’ is out on the 13th of June. Self-produced by the band and mixed by Mike Horner (Deaf Havana, Hot Chip, Jess Glynne, and more) with mastering duties handled adeptly by 360 Mastering.

Previous releases have been championed by BBC Introducing and Soho Radio, the band are also performing at Glastonbury this year with a prime slot on the Strummerville stage. Hot on the heels from a string of stellar shows including support slots for Kid Kapichi and sold-out headline dates.

The video for ‘Wallshake’ was filmed in Brighton & finessed in Las Vegas by editing wizard Lewis Bennett, it’s a punchy number and the visuals compliment the rising frenzy of track. You can watch Chimer performing on the Strummerville stage over the Glastonbury weekend, keep your eyes peeled on them HERE.
