CHELJI thrives on honesty. As a person, as an artist, she wants to be completely, utterly true to herself. It’s what enables her to connect with fans – using TikTok as a base, she’s built this colossal DIY army, a network of supporters that moves around the globe.

With more than a million people hanging on her every work, the Birmingham riser has crafted a space to call her own. That’s where new single ‘Made It Past October’ comes in – it taps into this self-same honesty, while also adding some delicious melody.

Citing Nirvana and Amy Winehouse as influences – she’s nothing if not ambitious – the songwriter aims for the heart. ‘Made It Past October’ is about self-doubt, mental health, and creating your own support network. It’s also about friendship, and how we all need to be there for one another, providing help when required.

A moving introduction, CHELJI is set to have a very exciting year indeed.
