West London’s own Central Cee returns with new single ‘gen z luv’.

The rapper has a golden touch, one that is securing smash after smash. A string of collaborations – ‘BAND4BAND’ with Lil Baby; ‘Did It First’ with Ice Spice – have bolstered his North American profile, but he’s bringing it all back home on his latest solo cut.

Out now, ‘gen z luv’ was teased on TikTok and immediately went viral, trending on the ever-addictive social media platform.

The word play has a romantic feel, but as ever there something barbed in there, too. Far from a simple love song, Cench knows that relationships never run smooth.

So, where is it going to rank? Central Cee’s ‘Doja’ was the second UK Rap Song ever to hit 700 million + streams on Spotify – the first was actually his collaboration with Dave, ‘Sprinter’.
