Casper Grey’s ‘TRU’SAY’ Is An Ominous Return

Casper Grey is bouncing back with brand new single ’TRU’SAY’.

A gritty, immersive listen from the East-End rhymer, the track plunges its crowds into a gloomy underworld of revenge, plot and menace. Taking a theatrical approach to his razor-sharp verses, Grey ventures into the world of storytelling, charging each word with a piercing rage.

Straddling between the spheres of music, design and cinema, Grey is a distinctive, heavy-weight force of creativity. Selected by Ashley Walters to participate in a professional scholarship at the reputed Kingdom School of Arts, the multi-disciplinarian explores the depths of human emotion through his sonics. In turn, Grey takes the lead with his own visuals and creative direction, drawing inspiration from the likes of Jonathan Glazer and Ken Loach.

Speaking on the haunting qualities of his latest release, Grey shares: “Revenge will punish you with suppressed guilt… Regret will punish you with suppressed shame. Choose your sin.”
