Black Thought and El Michels Affair combine on new single ‘That Girl’.

The two have ignited a full collaborative project, with new album ‘Glorious Game’ set to land on April 14th. It’s a meeting of two titans, too – El Michels Affair dips into that vintage funk and soul sound yet within a hip-hop spectrum, while Black Thought is on a crucial run of form.

Last year’s ‘Cheat Codes’ saw the rapper trade-off against production from Danger Mouse, but ‘That Girl’ pivots once more, providing a caramel-soft old school framework for the rapper.

In keeping with its February 14th release the song has a loved-up appeal, with Black Thought saying: “I’d probably do anything for that girl…”
