Big Yard Drop Their Brand New Single, ‘Happy Day’

Big Yard have shared their brand new single, ‘Happy Day’.

Lifting spirits with a bright, punchy instrumentation, the Phoenix-based trio mark their third release with optimism and euphoria. Across, the band weave between cinematic trumpet sections and a rejoicing hook, blending the boundaries of contemporary rock, pop and jazz. Equally leaning into the potent sonics of big band, the outfit piece together a track that lends itself to live performance, inviting crowds to come together and immerse themselves.

Released via self-made record label Big Yard Nation, core members Darryl Scotti, Alex Chacon and Aaron Howard are building their own platform. Combining their experience, the trio have shared stages with the likes of Ray Charles, Billy Joe Royal and contributed to Dan Merino’s Eurovision Song Contest enquiry, establishing their craft as both solo and collaborative musicians.

As they continue to shape their own sound, ‘Happy Day’ reveals a warm, endearing listen from Big Yard.
