Music
Manchester showcase Beyond The Music has confirmed its stage partners and curators for this year’s event.
The festival launched last year, a hugely successful platform for new music that helped forge new creative conversations in the process. Co-founded by promoter and social enterprise founder Oli Wilson and Sarah Pearson, Founder of Wasted Youth Music, alongside Rose Marley, CEO, Co-operatives UK, the venture brought together different facets of the music industry, and creative industries more broadly.
Returning last this year, Beyond The Music runs between October 9th to 12th. A host of stage partners and curators have been confirmed, and we’re delighted to say that CLASH will be on the ground in Manchester to host a very special line-up.
Joining us are our good friends at Nice Swan Records – the vital talent hub which spawned English Teacher and Sprints, amongst others – BBC Introducing, and more.
In keeping with the showcase event’s community leanings, Manchester Pride and From Manchester to Palestine will be on-site – both are dedicated and necessary in their activism.
Most importantly, the line-up is also taking shape, with Beyond The Music set to host everyone from Welsh wonders Adwaith through to Zola Courtney, via Jaws The Shark, Nico Harmony, and Human Interest.
Fresh names on the bill include:
Adjua, Adwaith, Alex Apolline, Alien Chicks, Bandit, Bastet, Black Market Gallery, China Lilly, Chroma, Coults, Crashface, Danny Ray, Elcee The Alchemist, Ellen Beth Abdi, Formal Sppeedwear, Fuzz Lightyear, Greytooth, Hollowbody, Human Interest, Jaws The Shark, Lavender Rodriguez, Lili Holland-Fricke, Low Pulse (Joey T & Lady Lady), Mace The Great, Michael Brindley, Nico Harmony, Pat, PRNCSS, Renee Stormz, Riya, Run Remedy, Salo, Sam Lightwing Quartet, Selve, Shlug, Skee, Teleshopping, The Beautiful, Sinners, The Vanns, Yaang and Zola Courtney
