The rapper’s first solo release in a year…

West London rapper Bawo has shared his new single, ‘Magnifique’, featuring Essex rapper Jordy, out via Bawo’s Say Nothing Imprint.
“The wait is over! ‘Magnifique’ is a precious release to me, marking my being back outsiiiiide,” Bawo says about his first solo release since last year. Over mellow keys and a shuffling beat, ‘Magnifique’ continues Bawo’s mercurial, familiar brand of rap that combines languid flows with world-weary lyricism.
In the past year, Bawo has plied his craft providing guest verses on tracks by Oscar #Worldpeace, Ashbeck, tn_490, Deema, Sam Wise. His collaboration with ATRIP, ‘Talking Too Much’, featured in the most recent series of Love Island.
Bawo released his last project, ‘Legitimate Cause‘, in 2023. The seven-track mission statement featured rappers Reek0 and #Oscar Worldpeace, and singer Ayeisha Raquel.
