Norway’s Ash Olsen returns with ‘someone else’.

Out now, the new single continues her ascent, with the Norwegian artist tipped to break out internationally. Blending punchy emo-rap lines with empathetic songwriting, Ash has a melodic touch that permeates even her darkest lyrics.

New song ‘someone else’ deals with the most difficult stage of a break up – moving on. Lyrically, Ash Olsen goes deep, discussing how hard it is to see your significant other re-build their life elsewhere, leaving you to pick up the pieces.

A cry from the heart, ‘Someone Else’ is literate and moving, with Ash Olsen pinning down her emotions with unerring accuracy. She comments…

“’Someone Else’ is about how fucking hard and tough it is to see someone you shared your
life with suddenly being with somebody new… we made the song because I needed to just
vent about how I was feeling. I made the song right after me and my ex broke up and I had
seen a story [on Instragram] and it wasnt even like that but when I felt it hurt that much, I
was like FUCK how tf am I gonna deal with this.”

Tune in now.
