Actor Karan Soni is coming back to play Dopinder once again in Deadpool and Wolverine, and now he’s teased more of what to expect from the upcoming film. Speaking to Variety, Soni said the new film is “ultra-secretive,” but he could say that there will be many cameos.

“There are a lot of surprises,” he said. “Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London [where the movie was filmed].”

Some of the rumors so far include Jennifer Garner coming back to play Elektra and Taylor Swift playing Dazzler. Director Shawn Levy previously discussed how easy it was to recruit big stars to come to London to film cameos for Deadpool and Wolverine.

“People love Deadpool. People love Ryan [Reynolds]. Thankfully, people also seem to like my work. They know that Ryan and I are in a groove of creative brotherhood that is unique and seems to be working,” he said.

Also in the interview, Soni talked about seeing Hugh Jackman on set for the first time for his role as Wolverine. “He walks in and you’re just kind of staring at the person and you’re like, ‘OK, this is a movie star,'” he said. “He’s very kind, very nice, and has such a presence.”

Deadpool and Wolverine releases in theaters this July. It is Marvel’s one and only film coming in 2024, and that’s intentional because Disney is trying to make fewer, better movies.
