Adée and Kirsten Joy combine on new single ‘Call My Mom’.
Swedish artist Adée continues her evolution on this new single, a mediation on motherhood. Produced by Joakim Buddee and co-written with Swedish pop duo Isle Of You, the track also features the talents of Kirsten Joy.
It comes at an exciting moment for Adée, whose breakthrough single ‘World On Fire’ made such a deep impression. Now focussed on her third studio album, her music was utilised on the soundtrack of hit Netflix series Gentrified.
‘Call My Mom’ focusses on internal evolution, building to that graceful chorus. Adée comments…
“The track is about how much my mother means to me, especially since I became a mom myself, I need her more than ever. The video and artwork show that you can feel like you are in the dark without your mom’s guidance.”
