The final preview from the duo’s forthcoming debut album.

Sad Night Dynamite have today shared a new track, ‘Mrs. Dior’, lifted from their debut album ‘Welcome The Night’, out September 27th.
Devotees of madcap, surrealist amalgams, ‘Mrs Dior’ follows previous singles, club banger ‘Wake Up Pass Out’ and first prelude ‘Sugabby’ – a big band-adjacent tale of love, hedonism and betrayal. ‘Mrs Dior’ draws from the lineage of 90s hip-hop and the duo’s now signature use of homegrown idioms. A vivid mash-up of styles and era signifiers, the archetypal ‘Mrs Dior’ is a manifestation of an unattainable fantasy.
The duo share: “’Mrs Dior’ is about believing in a fantasy. Love can lead to delusion. Dior implies luxury and exclusivity that most of us will never touch. It’s a mirage. It also may or may not be a very personal breakup song.”
‘Welcome The Night’ features guests ranging from the Mercury-nominated BERWYN to breakout stars like Aby Coulibaly, and surveys themes of modern turbulence, dystopia, escapism, and exhaustion, offering up a sonic respite for a generation crippled by angst and inertia. “The modern world lacks a guiding light; it’s fractious and blated,” the duo declare. “‘Welcome The Night’ embraces this confusion as a knee-jerk reaction to an overstimulated world.”
Sad Night Dynamite will make intimate in-store appearances during release-week, before embarking on the UK and European tour this October.
