For 21 years, convicted murderer Scott Peterson has been silent, but now he’s speaking out from behind bars. Nearly two decades after being found guilty for the 2022 murder of his wife Laci and their unborn son, Scott finally breaks his silence in the new Peacock docuseries “Face to Face with Scott Peterson.” In an excerpt played on “Today,” Scott defends speaking to his mistress Amber Frey while police were actively searching in California for his missing pregnant wife. Peterson is currently serving a life sentence, but the L.A. Innocence Project is pushing to get him a new trial.
