The song is Cardi’s latest collaboration after appearing on Peso Pluma’s album Éxodo and in a remix of Glorilla’s “Wanna Be”
Rob49 has dropped a new single, “On Dat Money,” featuring an appearance from Cardi B. The pair also shared a music video for the song, which sees Cardi rolling around in piles of cash and hitting the open road with Rob49. The clip, filmed in a New Jersey mansion, was directed by George Buford, Frederick Buford, and Directedbyfrankie.
“I’ve been grinding hard all summer, and teaming up with Cardi B on ‘On Dat Money’ is something I’m very excited about,” Rob49 said in a statement. “Her talent and energy is unmatched, and this record is going to prove I’m not stopping any time soon.”
Rob49 recently dropped “Homebody,” featuring Moneybagg Yo, Bossman Dlow, and Skilla Baby. In January, the New Orleans rapper teamed up with Lil Wayne on single “Wassam Baby,” which had been anticipated by his fans for months after it leaked in the fall of 2023.
Cardi B, meanwhile, teased new music earlier this month, releasing an Instagram video of her singing over Janet Jackson‘s “Funny How Time Flies (When You’re Having Fun),” with the words “Yall like this vibe for CB2?” (CB2 is a placeholder title for her sophomore album.)

Cardi B has hinted at a follow-up to her debut album Invasion of Privacy for a while, sharing an Instagram video in March promising the long-awaited album. She retracted her statement months later after a heated exchange with fans, writing on X, “This is a big accomplishment for me, and of course here comes Bardigang complaining like Deum I can’t celebrate shit,” she wrote in a now deleted tweet, adding, “Anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing.” However, Cardi B’s rep confirmed with Rolling Stone that she will, in fact, release an album in 2024.
The rapper told Rolling Stone in May that she makes music that reflects her mood. “I might be mad with my man, so it’s like now I want to do this song,” she said. “But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.”
