North West London artist Demae has shared new single ‘Go Ur Own Way’.

The songwriter is a multi-faceted talent, moving between R&B, jazz, and electronics. An early EP on Touching Bass caught our attention, before Demae flipped a number of Madlib samples on her unofficial ‘Maelib’ mixtape.

Now she’s back. Working with FAMM, Demae has just shard ‘Go Ur Own Way’, a soulful groove that epitomises her free-flowing capabilities.

On streaming now, the song acts as a mantra, its gentle repetition becoming a point of assurance; tethered to its tender message, Demae gradually finds a space to evolve within the song.
