The Madness continued Friday with a full slate of action on the men’s side as the field was trimmed to 32 teams.
The early window was pretty well chalk before a wild finish to Colorado-Florida and Yale-Auburn late in the afternoon. Colorado knocked off Florida with a last-gasp corner jumper that rattled around the rim and then Yale stunned Auburn in the tournament’s biggest upset so far — and that all happened in a matter of minutes.

The Antelopes become the second 12 seed to knock off a No. 5 seed in this tournament. Led by Tyon Grant-Foster’s 22 points, the WAC champs pull away from the Gaels in the second half. It’s the first tournament win in school history for Grand Canyon.
