Uttmanusorn Bridge Also known as Mon Bridge, it is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand with a length of 850 meters and is the second longest wooden bridge in the world after U-Bein Bridge in Burma. Y Nong Lu. Sangkla Buri District Kanchanaburi

This bridge was built by the idea of Reverend Father Uttma Abbot of Wat Wang Wiwekaram in the year 2529 until 1987 by the labor of the Mon people. It is a wooden bridge used for traveling by Mon people and Thai people who live in this area. Today it is one of the famous tourist attractions in Kanchanaburi.

On July 28, 2013 at 6:30 PM, the Uttmanusorn Bridge was broken into two parts in the middle of the bridge. Length of about 30 meters due to heavy rains continuously for up to 3 days, causing the wild water flowing from Thung Yai Naresuan. Blow the stump waste into the Songkhalia River. Finally, the Uttamanusorn Bridge was built by a mechanic from the 9th Infantry Brigade (Ror. 9) Surasi Camp with the villagers in Sangkhlaburi District. It takes just 29 days and has the official opening ceremony on October 18, 2014, which is the 104th anniversary of Luang Por Uttama. There will be a light and sound show as well.
