It’s out on January 12th…

Bill Ryder-Jones will release new album ‘Lechyd Da’ on January 12th.
The songwriter has completed work on his new studio album, his first since 2018’s ‘Yawn’. Bill is on ebullient form, too – in a note, he says simply “I love this album…”
Working from his Yawn Studios in West Kirby, the title is a Welsh toast, while the artwork features the Scottish coastal village of Crail.
“It’s my most produced record,” he says. “It’s basically me carrying on with myself again, but this time around I’m a bit more competent as a producer.”
New single ‘This Can’t Go On’ embodies this – a work of maturity, it’s also incredibly fresh, with strings lifted from a 1978 Flashlight song.
The video was shot in Crail, director James Slater capturing the wistful quality of Ryder-Jones’ work.
Tune in now.
