This time I received an e-mail from Comic-Con a week before the Open Registration. And I did not think about getting badges until an hour before the Open Registration began. I decided to give it a shot even though I canceled my badges earlier this year. The process was similar to the one in 2019, with minor changes in the user interface. After 8 minutes into the Open Registration session, I got selected to purchase badges. I carefully navigated through the process and purchased the badges for five days. The inventory availability after 20 minutes into the session was unbelievable. I did face an issue on the payment page. The billing address did not get updated as I entered it. When the clock was under 60 seconds, the problem resolved automatically. It felt like a dream when I saw “Congratulations..” after clicking on Purchase Order. We are grateful we had the chance to purchase badges for five days on this attempt. Honestly, I did not expect to get badges for all the days.
