Where Is Xur Today? (June 16-20) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide
Here's where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.
It’s the start of a new weekend, and as usual, the Agent of the Nine is here to sell some classic Exotic gear and legendary-class weapons. Xur has arrived with a refreshed inventory, just in time to help outfit you with some items for Season of the Deep activities and the Trials of Osiris. Here’s where Xur is this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering Hard Light. Hunters can pick up Sealed Ahamkara Grasp gauntlets; Titans can grab the Actium War Rig chest armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Eye of Another World helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

Exotic Armor
Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Hunter gauntlets)
These gauntlets are useful if you’re a fan of shotguns, as dealing melee damage reloads your currently equipped weapon. With this Exotic equipped, you can quickly close the distance, unload some lethal power from a shotgun, hit with a charged melee attack, and then unload even more shotgun ammo into your adversary if they’re still standing. Additionally, Hunters gain a large benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons, increased movement speed, and improved jump height after dealing melee damage. This roll has a very high strength stat to help feed into its melee potential, as well as some great resilience numbers to keep you alive.
- Mobility: 11
- Resilience: 13
- Recovery: 10
- Discipline: 7
- Intellect: 6
- Strength: 20
- Total: 67
Actium War Rig (Titan chest armor)
For the Titan who loves to unleash a storm of lead, Actium War Rig is great for those boss fights when you have a machine gun equipped as it’ll steadily reload a portion of your equipped auto rifle or machine gun. It’s also a terrific Exotic to pair with Sweet Business, as that weapon got an upgrade recently that makes it spit hot lead and explosives. When it comes to stats, mobility is strangely high, resilience is excellent, and Intellect steals the show. It’s perfect for when you want to mix Supers with pure assault power.
- Mobility: 17
- Resilience: 17
- Recovery: 3
- Discipline: 6
- Intellect: 23
- Strength: 2
- Total:
Eye of Another World (Warlock helmet)
This Warlock Exotic is great for PvP, as it highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration speed of your grenade, melee, and Rift abilities. It also provides a small benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons, and when it comes to stats, it has a great spread. While mobility and strength are almost non-existent, the discipline, resilience, recovery, and intellect numbers on this piece are pretty decent overall.
- Mobility: 2
- Resilience: 18
- Recovery: 13
- Discipline: 19
- Intellect: 10
- Strength: 2
- Total: 64
Exotic Weapons
Hard Light
It has been a long time since Hard Light has been offered by Xur, so grab this one while you can if you don’t have it yet. This is the auto rifle that can melt through any enemy shield, as holding down the reload button allows it to cycle between elements and you gain various stat buffs. That makes it useful for Legend Lost Sectors, especially when the seasonal artifact has auto rifle mods available. Additionally, shots fired from this weapon have reduced damage falloff, penetrate targets, and ricochet off of hard surfaces. Projectile damage increases after each bounce.
Hawkmoon
There’s nothing to really write home about this week with Hawkmoon, as this roll includes Snapshot Sights. That increases your time to aim down sights–slightly–but there’s very little synergy here with all the other perks on offer.
- Paracausal Shot
- Extended Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Snapshot Sights
- Heavy Grip
Dead Man’s Tale
As for Dead Man’s Tale, this is a build that favors PvE this week. Outlaw greatly decreases your reload time for every precision kill you land, which makes it pretty decent for taking out red-bar enemies.
- Cranial Spike
- Corkscrew Rifling
- Flared Magwell
- Outlaw
- Short-Action Stock

Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard strikes or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but from this season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
