Troye Sivan seems to be teasing a new album.
The pop star released his excellent full length ‘Bloom back in 2018, striking a chord with his army of fans. Since then, he’s hit the road for a lavish tour, before the pandemic intervened.
Taking a key role in new drama series The Idol, Troye seemed to be passionate about pursuing his acting activities. Music, however, retains a key place in his heart – and we could be about to hear a lot more from the groundbreaking songwriter.
In a note, Troye Sivan says “enough excuses now” before promising fans new material. The backdrop of the IG video is titled ‘Rush’ – could this be his comeback single…?
He writes:
“I didn’t mean to take 5 years to make this album – Bloom tour happened (lmk if you came), then i started working on it, then cockbig19 (COVID-19), then The Idol, always working on the album in all the moments between..and now here we are”.
“Enough excuses now. Enough saying ‘soon’, this is for YOU and it starts NOWWWW”.
