Yamaha Music have shared the second season of WAY UP House.
The project launched last year with its opening season, bringing together six creatives to work together under one roof. An eclectic bunch, the final results exuded charm, with the final aspects being much more than the sum of its parts.
Season Two has just landed, with four-time Grammy winning bassist / composer John Patitucci helming the project. The six artists work from a historic New York house filled with incredible instruments and equipment, aiming to create songs over the span of three days.
The artists are Zimbabwean award winning artist Gemma Griffiths Aussie singer-songwriter Sam Fischer, 26 year old London drummer Jas Kayser, South Korean R&B / pop sensation KATIE Stockholm based artist Mopiano and American R&B rockstar Jordan Hawkins.
Of the experience, Gemma Griffiths said: “Music really is connection. It’s an incredibly powerful tool. Without ever having met someone you can make a really big impact.”
Sam Fischer adds: “To be able to perform our track here and look back at where it started is a cool thing.”
