The Prodigy are set to play EXIT Festival next summer.
The historic Serbian event takes place in Petrovaradin fortress, giving it one of the most dramatic backdrops of the summer season. An event with counter cultural leanings in its DNA, EXIT is renowned for its eclectic bills, it’s fantastic dance arena, and of course its warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The Prodigy are old friends of the EXIT crew, with the UK rave giants having brought their full throttle live shows to the Novi Sad site countless times over the years. Tragedy may have halted them in their tracks, but the Prodigy are back in action, and have just confirmed an emotional spot at EXIT Festival next summer.
News has delighted the EXIT team, with founder Dušan Kovačević commenting…
“Many thought, including the band itself, that The Prodigy would stop performing after the tragedy, but we knew this wouldn’t be the case. The comeback concerts in London showed that the fire in them burns stronger than ever, and the iconic band’s reunion with its favourite, EXIT audience, will surely be the most emotional yet. In July, we will witness a moment of true music history, which will reach its highest point with a special laser projection of Keith Flint…”
The Prodigy join a wicked bill, which also boasts appearances from superstar American producer Skrillex, Swedish punks Viagra Boys, and Sebastian Murphy.
