Big Image spent summer putting the hours in – and now they’re ready to reap the rewards.
The four-piece blazed a trail across the festival season, playing high profile events like Community, Neighbourhood, Live at Leeds, Y Not, and Lakefest. Supporting established acts like Circa Waves, the group were able to blend punchy, club-aligned electronics with a full-band feel, winning countless new fans in the process.
New single ‘Late Nights’ finds Big Image capitalising on this momentum, and it’s the first fruits of a new creative partnership. Grammy winning producer Steve Dub is able to ratchet up the intensity, with Big Image exuding charm throughout.
“‘Late Nights’ is a song about going out, living in the moment and forgetting about the real world,”
explains frontman George Johnson. “You find being in a band can have so many highs and lows
and sometimes you just can’t keep up with it all alongside real life and we wanted to show that in the
video”.
“We’ve been playing this song at all the festivals this summer and the reaction to it has been
amazing, so it felt right to release this one next,” adds bass player Luke Morris. “I think it’s probably
the best we’ve sounded on record”.
An exciting moment for Big Image, it finds the band reaching a new level. What could be their breakout moment, ‘Late Nights’ comes equipped with a stellar new video – tap in below.
