As Media Take Out reported, Mike Mora, husband of eight years to Kelis, passed away at the age of 37 last March – following an 18-month battle with stage 4 stomach cancer.
And according to one of Kelis’ friends, the singer is trying to move on with her life – and is “open” to dating. The friend explained, “It was a really difficult time for , but she’s now ready to let someone into her life.”
