I love, love, love hiking outdoors, especially during the fall season (see me surrounded by gorgeous foliage above)!
For a while, I was looking for a pair of leggings that would be slightly compressive and not too tight on my legs, comfortable enough for trail walking, and still stylish to wear with sweatshirts or puffer jackets.
Girlfriend Collective is one of my favorite activewear brands, and after seeing this dark red pair of leggings online, I decided to buy them and I’m SO HAPPY I did, because they did all of the things I listed above and exceeded my expectations.
I recently wore them on a hike in the Catskills and I didn’t experience any bunching, sagging, or discomfort on my lil’ outdoor adventure. They even matched my college sweatshirt and hiking shoes, which made it so much easier to dress for that weird, in-between autumn weather where it’s cold, but not too cold.
They’re also great for other workouts: I’ve worn them for barre and strength training classes and they’re still holding up! I’ll definitely be buying them in more colors (fingers crossed they don’t sell out soon).
Get them from Girlfriend Collective for $92 (available in women’s sizes XXS–6XL, two inseams, and in seven colors).
