Matthew M. Williams is expanding his cultural footprint across music and fashion with his latest venture at 1017 ALYX 9SM. Long making waves beyond his subversive, luxury designs, Willaims is known for his globe-stopping collaborations with musicians and even curating his own show soundtracks. This summer, Williams has enlisted Alamo Records founder and CEO, Todd Moscowitz, to help curate 1017 ALYX 9SM COMPILATION VOL. 1, a project of original, experimental tracks to accompany the latest 1017 ALYX 9SM collection. The latest release and second single is ‘Warriors’ by Lil Yachty.
As singles continue to drop throughout the rest of the summer, heading for a full album release in September, ‘Warriors’ follows the lead single from Ethal Cain titled ‘Famous Last Words’. Cain’s track was released two weeks ago and has debuted to over 1 million streams so far. Yachty’s track comes fresh off his recent album campaign ‘Let’s Start Here’, which boasts over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Produced by Alamo Records, this compilation will feature a diverse range of artists curated by Matthew M. Williams.
